A client recently called to request a pick-up and delivery of a perfectly good washing machine to a local charity. Her frustration was evident on the call, as she railed against the first charity she had reached out to and been rejected by.
Of course, I had to ask. “Why wouldn’t that charity accept it if it’s in perfect condition?”
She quickly replied, “Well, it doesn’t work.”
“Oh. How can you consider it in perfect condition?”
“Well, it doesn’t have a scratch on it.”
